We led the regional ICT regulatory review for the Asian Development Bank (ADB), assisting Cambodia, China, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam in aligning their telecom frameworks with regional integration objectives. In Cambodia, we played a crucial role in developing a transformational business model through "disruptive innovation” for Telecom Cambodia, paving the way for digital service expansion.

In Mongolia, we spearheaded telecom sector privatization and corporatization, optimizing market structures and attracting foreign investment from KT Telecom in South Korea and separating the market segments for operational and regulatory efficiency - ultimately developing the concept of "Open Acess Networks.

GG International introduced a new Unified Licensing regime for telecommunication in Bangladesh, transformating, and streamlining regulatory complexity and thus enhancing market efficiency delivering sustainable lower prices and higher quality to consumers.

Oceania: Our collaboration with Ericsson in New Zealand resulted in a successful market entry strategy for an open-source digital mobile network.

GG International pioneered the development of a digitalized and unified emergency services network through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model in response to the Cave Creek disaster in New Zealand. The tragedy, which exposed critical communication failures among first responders, highlighted the urgent need for an interoperable and secure communication system across emergency services. At the time, different agencies operated on separate radio frequencies, preventing seamless coordination during crises. GG International leveraged cutting-edge digital technology to integrate emergency response communications into a single, secure platform, ensuring police, fire, ambulance, and civil defense teams could communicate in real time without technical barriers. This pioneering effort not only improved operational efficiency and response times but also set a benchmark for emergency communications reform worldwide, demonstrating how innovative PPP models can drive critical public safety infrastructure advancements.

GG International partnered with the Rwanda Information Telecommunications Authority to modernize the country’s telecommunications sector, aligning it with Rwanda’s ambitious e-Government initiatives. This collaboration aimed to create a digitally inclusive ecosystem where government services could be seamlessly accessed by citizens and businesses through secure, high-speed networks. By integrating advanced telecommunications infrastructure with public service platforms, GG International played a key role in enhancing service delivery, streamlining government operations, and accelerating Rwanda’s digital transformation agenda.
